Florida residents, Karen and Brian Argus, have answered the call to serve the local community, becoming Certified Forensic Operators and the designated local “Paramedics of Property Damage” with the opening of their new PuroClean franchise located in Stuart, Florida. Karen, with the support of her husband, Brian, lead a team of highly trained technicians to help home and business owners with water, fire, mold, and other property damage, 24/7. PuroClean of Stuart will serve the Stuart, Port Salerno, Palm City, Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach, and Indiantown areas.
“We are thrilled to join the PuroClean family and cannot wait to showcase the skilled training we’ve learned to support home and business owners following property damage,” said Karen. “Brian and I found the perfect entrepreneurial venture that will allow us to create a strong business in our community, which also provides us with the opportunity to make a difference.”
As part of an American military family, Karen grew up in West Berlin, Germany and relocated to the United States when she was 20 to pursue a professional career in the healthcare industry. This is where she developed a passion for serving people. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing and spent 20 years working in critical care units. Throughout this period, she also attended law school and earned a Juris Doctorate.
The other half of the duo, Brian, attended Daniel Webster College in Nashua, New Hampshire, and earned a degree in aviation management and flight operations before graduating. Following graduation, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps and retired in 2015 as a Lieutenant Colonel when he began his work as a professional pilot.
The couple recently relocated to Florida from Connecticut to pursue their dream of becoming business owners. As part of the business, Brian, a Certified Forensic Operator, will be managing the supervision of jobs as well as marketing, and Karen will run the day-to-day operations to provide all restoration and remediation services to their customers.
